The 30th Pažaislis Music Festival invites musicians of different specialities and fields to join the social concert project “Meetings in Music”
From 2021 onwards, the Pažaislis Music Festival is organising concerts for audiences who, for various physical, mental, emotional and other reasons, are unable to attend the main programme events. During these years, such concerts took place at the Panemunė Home for the Elderly, Kaunas St. Rokas School, the Korys Centre for Persons with Disabilities, the Arka Community in Kaunas and elsewhere.
In 2024-2025, in cooperation with UAB Baltisches Haus, we invite musicians of different specialties and fields to join the activities of the project “Meetings in Music”.
The project participants will get:
– Two training sessions by representatives of the Embrace Nederland Foundation (The Netherlands). The first part will take place in November 2024, via distance learning (on-line) and will last 4 hours. The second part of the training, a seminar and workshop, will be held live, scheduled for February 2025. The methodological material for the first part of the training will be available in Lithuanian and English, while the activities for the second part will be in English.
– Social concerts-meetings in various institutions in Kaunas and Kaunas district, organised by the public institution Pažaislis Music Festival. The dates of these events will be coordinated according to the availability of the project participants. Performers participating in the social concerts will receive fee for their performances.
