The first “STUDENTS’ HALL” party of international students and guests of Music Academy was held on December 23

On December 23, the first international party of students and guests of the Music Academy – “STUDENTS’ HALL” took place in the Concert hall of the Music Academy.

Live music – students prepared musical numbers, youthful energy, joyful moments, good mood, friendly atmosphere, dancing, being together – these are just a few moments of the party. Students and guests from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Italy, China, Turkey, Ukraine, France participated in the event.

Performers:

Shuyuan Liu M1 k. (China, piano, class of prof. Donaldas Račis) and Ilenia Scalise (Italy, Erasmus + student, piano, class of assoc. prof. Šviesė Čepliauskaitė) performed “The four-hand piece Dvořák: Slavonic Dance”, Op. 46, No. 8;

Artur Fedchenko B2 k. (classical percussion, Ukraine, class of lect. Sigitas Gailius) and Ihor Saranchuk B3 k. (classical percussion, Ukraine, class of lect. Sigitas Gailius) performed Emmanuel Séjourné. “Lila”

Paul Meng, B1 k. (classical vocal, Estonia, class of prof. Tomas Ladiga) sang the Estonian folk song “Ei saa mitte vaiki olla”, Music: Seadnud Eugen Kapp, lyrics: Sonad Anna Haava

Shike Bai, M1 k. (China, piano, class of assoc. Šviesė Čepliauskaitė) performed Joseph Haydn’s “Piano Sonata No. 37 in D Major (Third Movement)”;

Anastasiia Sorokaliet, B1 k. (guitar, Ukraine, class of assoc. Sergej Krinicin) and Diana Sinevich, B2 k. (Latvia, accordion, class of Assoc. Prof. Povilas Velikis), performed “Two songs duet”;

Illia Alieksashkin, B2 k. (accordion, Ukraine, class of Assoc. Prof. Povilas Velikis) and Ihor Saranchuk B3 k. (classical percussion, Ukraine, class of Lect. Sigitas Gailius) performed “Shchedryk” by Mykola Leontovych.
